Dr. Ulm graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1998 and has been practicing in Utah since 1999. He is committed to staying on the cutting-edge of the latest advancements in the field of biological dentistry, and maintains memberships with such professional organizations as the Academy of General Dentistry, the Holistic Dental Association, the International Academy of Biological Dental Medicine, and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT). Dr. Ulm was the first dentist in Utah accredited by the IAOMT, the world’s foremost authority on toxicology and material safety in oral medicine.
Dr. Ulm is active in the community, and has participated in various mission trips. In 2006 he and his wife spent a month in the island nation of Vanuatu providing dental care to remote coastal and jungle villages, an experience he counts among his most memorable as a dentist. During his leisure time, Dr. Ulm enjoys motorcycling, running, and skiing. He has 2 daughters 8-year-old Ella and 4-year-old Betty; and their one-eyed albino wonderdog, Maggie.
